The Pause Guitare Sud de France festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary !

For three decades this event, which has become one of the biggest musical gatherings in the Southwest , has been making the heart of Albi beat.

🎞️ A little throwback: From a village square to the stage at Pratgraussals

Did you know that it all started in 1996 in a small square in Monestiès?

At the time, 150 people had gathered for a "short" musical break. Thirty years later, the festival has become an independent giant, capable of bringing together more than 80,000 spectators without ever losing its friendly soul or its attachment to French song.

From the shadow of Sainte-Cécile Cathedral to the great plains of Pratgraussals, Pause Guitare has seen legends ( Scorpions, Sting, Elton John, Iggy Pop... ) pass through while remaining an incredible springboard for new talents.

For this anniversary, the Arpèges et Trémolos association made a big splash.

Here are the headliners who will set the main stage on fire this year:

• - Friday, July 10: An evening of legend and elegance with Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals , the indefatigable Jean-Louis Aubert , the British pop of The Kooks , and the timeless voice ofVéronique Sanson.
• - Saturday, July 11: The boss is back! Orelsan returns to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the festival, surrounded by the energy of Rilès , DJ producer Mosimann and the revelation Miki .
• - Sunday, July 12: A festive closing with Gims , the irresistible atmosphere of Magic System , and the new pop gems Héléna and Luiza .
